The E-flite Habu SS 50mm EDF is a scaled-down version of the Habu STS and SS 70mm platforms. This PNP jet is aimed at low-time pilots moving into EDF flying and at experienced pilots who want an everyday sport jet. The updated airframe is stronger and stiffer, and the power system now runs common 3S and 4S 1300–2200mAh batteries.
A Spektrum Avian 30-amp Smart Lite ESC and four factory-installed servos are included. The lightweight composite-reinforced EPO airframe is designed for easier low-speed handling than typical 50mm jets, with a functional enlarged rudder and optional tricycle landing gear.
The factory-installed brushless power system delivers thrust on 3S 1300–2200mAh LiPo batteries, or more speed and vertical performance on 4S with no modifications.
The airframe design improves low-speed handling and slow-speed performance, making this one of the easier EDF jets to fly.
Composite-reinforced EPO construction includes a thicker wing spar plus a stabilizer spar, and a functional enlarged rudder for added control.
Wide-stance tricycle gear with a steerable nose wheel handles paved, fabric, dirt and short-grass runways, or leave the gear off for hand launch and grass landings.

The PNP airframe arrives with the power system and servos installed. Final assembly is glue-free and does not require special tools.
This PNP version is for experienced pilots who can assemble, set up and fly similar-class models, including installing a receiver.
