Constructed from durable EPP foam, this semi-scale model features a brushless motor for impressive power and the innovative PASS stability system, which helps new pilots regain level flight instantly. Out of the box, it comes fully equipped—including transmitter, battery, and charger—allowing you to take to the skies in minutes. Whether you're practicing smooth takeoffs with its removable landing gear or performing stunt loops at the push of a button, the F4U Corsair makes every flight thrilling, accessible, and unforgettable.

The Rage RC 500mm F4U Corsair is a classic WWII semi-scale airplane with a brushless motor that provides the power that RC enthusiasts enjoy, and the stability needed for beginners to learn how to fly. This Corsair is manufactured from EPP foam that provides class leading durability and features a detachable prop system that nearly eliminates broken props and bent motor shafts. Like most Rage RC airplanes, this F4U includes the PASS (Pilot Assist Stability Software) system which allows the performance envelope of the airplane to expand with your flying skills and makes flying a more enjoyable experience. In Full or Partial Assist Mode with PASS, if you ever lose control, simply release the control sticks and the F4U will quickly return to level flight. Even when in Expert Mode, if you get into trouble, all you need to do is move the PASS switch to Full or Partial Assist for the system to take over and you're back in level, stable flight. Another scale feature with this new Corsair is the removable snap-in-place landing gear with covers that can be used for take-offs from smooth surfaces and a steerable tail wheel adds functionality to ground control. When you want to add extra fun to your flights, the Stunt button on the transmitter can be used to automatically complete either a loop or roll that will make you look like an ace pilot.

The F4U Corsair BL arrives out of the box with pre-printed graphics and includes a clear canopy with pilot and a scale-looking dashboard.

RTF Version: Everything needed to fly is included in the box; including a 2.4GHz standard size 4-channel transmitter, a pre-installed Airborne Control System (receiver, separate 15A ESC, 2 integrated servos, and a 4.3g aileron servo), a convenient USB charger, and a powerful 7.4V 400mAh LiPo battery for extended flight times of up to 15 minutes. For pilots who want even more power and thrust, a 3S 11.1V 400mAh pack is available separately as an upgrade. Even AA batteries for the transmitter are included so you'll be flying sorties around your local flying field or park within minutes of opening the box!
