🔁 HobbyZone Return Policy

At HobbyZone, we want you to feel confident in your purchase. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help. Please review our updated return guidelines before submitting a request.


Eligible Returns

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for items that meet all of the following requirements:

  • New, unused, unassembled, and in original condition

  • Original packaging, manuals, accessories, and all included parts

  • Factory-sealed items are processed fastest

A 15% restocking fee may apply.


Battery Return Policy (Important Update)

For safety and compliance reasons:

Standalone batteries cannot be returned, whether opened or unopened.

✔️ Batteries included inside a sealed RTF/RTF bundle can be returned,

but only if the entire product is returned unopened and unused.


📩 Return Authorization (RMA Required)

All returns must be approved in advance.

To request an RMA:

  1. Contact us with your order number and reason for return

  2. Once approved, you’ll receive an RMA number and return instructions

Packages without an RMA may be refused.


💡 How to Return an Item

1. Request RMA & Approval

Contact us to obtain your RMA number.
If the item is defective, include photos or video to help us evaluate.

2. Pack & Ship

  • Package items securely with all original materials

  • Write the RMA number clearly on the box or label

  • Customer is responsible for return shipping unless the error is ours

  • We can provide a discounted return label; the cost will be deducted from your refund

3. Inspection & Refund

Refunds are issued 3–7 business days after inspection.
Restocking and/or shipping fees may apply.


🚚 Shipping Costs & Deductions

  • Original shipping is non-refundable

  • Orders that received free or discounted shipping will have the actual shipping cost deducted from the refund

  • Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless the wrong item was sent


Items Not Eligible for Return

We cannot accept returns for:

  • Items delivered more than 30 days ago

  • Products that have been opened, used, assembled, or modified

  • Missing packaging, manuals, accessories, or components

  • Damage caused by improper return packaging

  • Standalone batteries of any type

  • Batteries inside RTF bundles once the box is opened

  • Electronics once installed, soldered, or connected

  • Scratch-and-dent, clearance, or open-box items

  • Software simulators (license-restricted)


⚠️ Defective, Missing, or Damaged Items

If your item is defective or missing parts, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
Many issues can be resolved with replacement parts or simple troubleshooting.

Include:

  • Order number

  • Description of the issue

  • Photos or video

Some issues may fall under our Warranty Policy.


🏬 Purchases From Other Retailers

If the product was purchased from Amazon, a hobby shop, or any seller other than www.hobbyzone.com, returns must be handled directly through that seller.
