I just got back from flying the UMX Radian Glider. I have to go back to the hobby store because I need more batteries! This plane is fun. Bring a lawn chair because it stays up.
A slick flying, durable, totally fun plane to fly. Tiny, it is very stable even on moderately windy days. Small enough that you can store in car trunk and fly even if you have only a 15 minute break. A great buy!
I recently purchased this miniature glider and was immediately shocked and surprised at the way it performed. I've flown many model gliders in the past, and this one flies equally as well as my larger models. I wouldn't advise flying it in gusty conditions, as it doesn't have the weight to cope with it. But in calm weather... wow! You'll be needing extra batteries as it will give you hours of enjoyment without having to go to large flying fields. If you like gliders, you'll love this one. If you have not had a glider before, then I highly recommend that you buy one of these. It's a definite must have in your collection.
I have been flying RC for 20 years. I have taught many people to fly. This plane is one of the easiest and most forgiving planes I have flown. The AS3X system stabilizes the wings in winds you would not fly your larger planes in. Great at thermalling and slope soaring. It is extremely light.
I don't know how this little dainty flier stays up in wind, but it does. It's incredible and tons of fun for its size.
I purchased this hoping to get a fun little flyer and that was exactly what I got. Nice and slow for me, a beginner. I really enjoy this plane. Very relaxing time at my local soccer field.
Its a great first glider plane
It can be a bit of a hand full in a bit of wind I put that it being so light it is but its a bast to fly
This plane responds to controls very well, and glides very nicely when the engine is cut. Have flown it about 6 times now, and bought 4 new batteries so I can keep flying for a longer period of time.
Plane flew great until I nose dove into the road. I bought two of the same plane so I could have one under repair while the other flew. However, crashed a lot and both need new parts. Lots of fun while it lasted. I think I'll get a larger plane next time that will be more stable in low wind.
