The Rage RC P-51D Mustang is the perfect blend of scale beauty and beginner-friendly technology. The Rage RC 500mm P-51D American Beauty Mustang is a classic WWII semi-scale airplane with a brushless motor that provides the power that RC enthusiasts enjoy, and the stability needed for beginners to learn how to fly. This airplane is manufactured from EPP foam that provides class leading durability and features a detachable prop system that nearly eliminates broken props and bent motor shafts. Like most Rage RC airplanes, this P-51D includes the PASS (Pilot Assist Stability Software) system which allows the performance envelope of the airplane to expand with your flying skills and makes flying this P-51D a more enjoyable experience. In Full or Partial Assist Mode with PASS, if you ever lose control, simply release the control sticks and the P-51D will quickly return to level flight. Even when in Expert Mode, if you get into trouble, all you need to do is move the PASS switch to Full or Partial Assist for the system to take over and you're back in level, stable flight. Another scale feature with this new P-51D is the removable snap-in-place landing gear with gear doors that can be used for take-offs from smooth surfaces and a steerable tail wheel adds functionality to ground control. When you want to add extra fun to your flights, the Stunt button on the transmitter can be used to automatically complete either a loop or roll that will make you look like an ace pilot.

The P-51D Mustang arrives out of the box with pre-printed American Beauty graphics and includes a clear canopy with pilot and a scale-looking dashboard. Almost everything needed to fly is included in the box; including a pre-installed Airborne Control System (receiver, separate ESC, 2 integrated servos, and a 4.3g aileron servo), a convenient USB charger, and a powerful 2S 7.4V 400mAh LiPo battery for extended flight times of up to 15 minutes.
