Victory rolls, Cuban-8s, Immelmans—ParkZone’s P-51D can do them all thanks to its powerful 480 brushless outrunner motor and semi-symmetrical airfoil.
The paint scheme and decals are an authentic reproduction of the actual markings from “Gunfighter”, a P-51D that regularly flies in airshows around the world.
Great flying plane. Very durable. I live on a hill above a golf course and fly it right over the golf course. I land it by flying uphill close to stall speed, then plop it down in a bush right at my feet or sometimes can hand catch it. Tough little plane! It takes a licking and keeps on ticking. Could use just a bit more power. I run a 1600 mAh battery and that seems to kick up the power a bit. Besides this Parkzone plane, I have the Parkzone P-47, Corsair, and Radian. Never been disappointed by a Parkzone plane!
Great plane, although not for beginners. Good looking. Durable. The 480 motor is adequate for scale flying. I added landing gear (Parkzone's F4U) and a free-spinning tail wheel. It's been flying for more than two years, had several crackups, and several repairs. It's still a thrill to fly, especially with an audience of WWII warbird buffs.
I like this plane but i wish there was landing gear on it. I hate belly landing. There's a bigger risk of crashing! Other than that it's a great plane.
