Return Policy

We want you to enjoy the products you buy from us. If you have comments, concerns, or complaints, please be sure to let us know. Give us an opportunity to make you a satisfied customer and we will try hard to do so.

WHAT CAN BE RETURNED?

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, we will be happy to accept returns of new, unused, unopened, re-sellable items within 30 days of receipt of the product. We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of 15% on returned merchandise.

All returns must first be emailed to info@hobbyzone.com for approval and detailed instructions. When packing the return order, please be sure all the original packing materials, parts and manuals are included. After receipt of the return, we will inspect the product and credit by the original method used to purchase the item.

If the item has been opened, been used, or is defective, then contact us so we can learn more about the situation and determine if the item is eligible to be returned. Be sure to have your order number ready.

Note that if your product has been assembled or used in any way and you discover an issue with your product within 30 days of delivery, you may be eligible for replacement or repair according to our warranty policy. Visit the warranty page on our website to determine if your product is covered by our warranty policy.

SHIPPING COSTS

Shipping costs are not refundable. For returns that originally had free shipping or subsidized shipping, we will deduct the actual cost of the shipping from the return credit.

The customer will incur the cost of the return shipping. In some cases, the cost of shipping at retail can be prohibitive. You may request a prepaid return label from us that may be substantially lower than the cost you would incur. Call us if you want an estimate. We will either bill you or deduct that amount from your return.

ITEMS INELIGIBLE FOR RETURN

Items received more than 30 days ago.
Items not in original packaging, or missing any parts or the instruction manual.
Items which have had any assembly.
Items not carefully packed for return which incur damage during return shipment.
We will specifically not accept the following items for return:
1. Software simulators - We have no way of determining if they have been installed or registered.
2. ESC's, pull starts, or other electronics or electronic components once out of the package. This includes any engine that has been installed or run, or electronic component that has been soldered or modified. Do your research before ordering. Defective electronics are covered by the manufacturer's warranty and you should contact them directly for assistance.
3. Scratch-and-Dent or Clearance items

UNDELIVERABLE ADDRESS

In the event we are provided a bad or undeliverable shipping address, we will contact you upon receipt of the package back to us. Before reshipping, we will charge for the actual shipping costs out and back the first time.

90-Day Warranty Policy

1. Warranty Coverage

Hobby Zone provides a 90-day warranty for the products sold on this website. This Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use during the Warranty Period.

2. Warranty Period

The Warranty Period begins on the date of purchase and lasts for 90 days.

3. Warranty Claims

During the Warranty Period, if the Product is found to be defective or malfunctioning due to a manufacturing defect or workmanship issue, you may be eligible for warranty service. To make a warranty claim, please follow these steps:

a. Contact our customer support team via info@hobbyzone.com.
b. Provide proof of purchase, such as your order confirmation or receipt.
c. Describe the issue with the Product in detail.

4. Warranty Service

If your warranty claim is approved, we will, at our discretion, either repair the defective Product or replace it with a new or refurbished Product, free of charge. The repaired or replacement Product will be covered by the remaining Warranty Period of the original Product.

5. Warranty Exclusions

This Warranty does not cover:

Damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse, or neglect.
Damage resulting from improper installation or maintenance.
Damage caused by unauthorized modification or repair.
Normal play and use.
Any Product that has been used in a manner inconsistent with its intended use.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Hobby Zone shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use the Product.

The unique wing design combines the STOL capabilities of the Turbo Timber with oversized control surfaces and a 3S compatible power system to deliver an even wider flight envelope. The UMX Timber X also comes equipped with LED landing, navigation, and strobe lights, and provides real-time battery voltage and other telemetry data to compatible Spektrum AirWare^™ equipped transmitters. Because of its ultra-micro size, the UMX Timber X can be flown outdoors in many yards, parks, and sports fields, or even indoors in gymnasiums and other suitable spaces. Install the optional UMX floats (EFLUA1190, sold separately) and you can also fly from pools, ponds, and lakes. Already own a Spektrum^™ transmitter? Bind-N-Fly^® (BNF^®) aircraft make getting into the air quickly and with the best control experience possible easier than ever. They come out of the box with the power system, servos and a Spektrum 2.4GHz receiver installed so all you need to do is bind the receiver to a compatible transmitter, finish any final assembly, and fly!

Telemetry Capable

The UMX^™ Timber^® X is equipped with a control unit/flight controller that includes an ESC and Spektrum^™ receiver that provides real-time flight battery voltage telemetry to compatible Spektrum AirWare^™ equipped transmitters (including the DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2/G3 and 8 G2, the DX9, NX6, 8 and 10, the iX12, iX20 and others) while you fly.

eXtra Exclusive Technologies
