Designed from the ground-up as a beginner-friendly aircraft, the Arrows Tecnam-2010 is easy to build and easy to fly.

    Easy to Build

Thanks to the modular construction of the airframe, the aircraft is ready for flight with the installation of only a few screws. Remove the screws and the aircraft easily comes apart for transportation and storage.

    Easy to Fly

Light wing loading and a high-lift airfoil design gives the aircraft highly predictable flight characteristics.

With the pre-installed Vector system, the Tecnam-2010 is one of the most forgiving aircraft on the market, while retaining aerobatic performance for advanced pilots looking for a relaxing weekend flyer.

The nose wheel and rudder are controlled by independent servos, allowing for easy ground handling.

    Power

Power comes courtesy of a high-quality 3536-850kV motor and 30A ESC (Arrows recommends a 11.1V 2200mAh 25C flight battery). When paired with the highly efficient 11x7 propeller and proper throttle management, expect flight times of up to 15 minutes!

Fantastic plane for the money!! Very beginner/intermediate friendly. Assembly was a breeze and plane needed very little to no trim to fly straight as proverbial arrow. I can find nothing bad to say about this plane at all. Highly recommended !

All of you AMA member know that in order to fly a model at a sanctioned event it must be flown prior to. The event is tomorrow and today was the maiden. Six club members were there to watch on. Take off was in manual mode, gained some altitude and dialed it I . I engaged the stabilizer..the airplane was incredibly stable. The airplane is a blast to fly. The only.thing to watch for is the battery hatch. If the clip isn't fully engaged the cover could flip open and act as an airbrake.

I did a lot of touch and goes on the pond today. I am looking forward to flying it.tomorrow

Flight video is here: https://youtu.be/jQR6wYYzXlo I Purchased the Arrows Tecnam-2010 for my clubs annual Float 'n Fly. The build manual was clear, build was easy. I visually adjusted the throws and used calipers, this way when I got to the pond for the Maiden there was very little trim needed. The model had plenty of power and when using flaps you don't need much room for takeoff. The stabilizer works well. Towards the end of the day I used it since the wind was starting to gust and helped when landing in the pond during a gust. You still need to be vigilant with the last minute gusts. Out of 8 flights that day I only tipped the wing into the pond once.

Great Stylish Plane to Learn How to Fly

    Quality

    Appearance

Relative to other planes I have owned, I find TECNAM to be a *great* value plane and here is why: it looks great and is very scale. It is easy and fun to fly, responds nicely in the air augmented by the Vector stabilization system. It comes with navigation lights, flaps, floats and a powerful motor which I fly with 4S batteries. Doing some research on the ESC and motor, it appears both the ESC and motor will take the charge. With a 4S battery, the plane soars at take off with super short take off. The downer of this plane is the front wheel which is not as durable/less forgiving if you happen to have a hard land. A spare part is $15 for the front wheel and about $5 for the rear wheels. I find the part expensive and the price targeted on the part with the highest turnover. I gave an average score on durability because I need to have spares with me to fly the plane or straighten out the bent front wheel. To land this plane gracefully, one must bleed all the energy and drop landing flaps. I recommend this plane and glad to have supported HobbyZone which I find a dependable and responsive store. From HobbyZone I have bought the TECNAM and the SZD54 glider and I have enjoyed both purchases.

Haven't flown yet but this plane is very impressive, size flaps lights and vector all ready to go, out of the box. I have just a little horizontal stab angle, but am sure it'll come out after heating just the mount area a little. I'll check with Dan if not. He was very helpful. Believe me this will be a Big step up from the 400mm Corsair lol

    Great Relaxing Trainer Style Plane

    Appearance

Very impressed by the quality. From what I've read online, Arrows RC makes good planes, so I figured why not. The plane is much nicer in real life than the modest reviewers tend to mention, especially for the price. The quality is on par with E-Flite; almost feels like an FMS design. I found assembly to be very straightforward. I really enjoy how they used the same size bolts everywhere. The plane behaves like it should. The light wing loading makes it very relaxing to fly. This would be a good first plane. I intend to bring it along on work trips as a fun throw-in-the-car type of plane. Have yet to operate it on floats, but the float mounting style is very well done. This would also be a good FPV platform due to the extra space available in the fuselage and the light wing loading. One thing I did modify was reinforce the nose steering servo with a couple cross braces of carbon fiber held in with CA. This helped make the steering a bit more robust than before. I intend to install a Flytron strobe in the bottom just for fun. Overall very impressed with the plane and would not hesitate to buy another plane from Arrows RC.

For the price point, this is a good large scale plane. However, be mindful that things are cheap. The foam dents very easily on the floats and the rest of the plane. I would suggest reinforcing them with fiberglass to make them last. Overall, it's not a waste of money. Just take your time and build it right and reinforce what needs to be.

    Some Minor Quality Issues

This was my second Arrows aircraft, but the quality was not as good as my first purchase (Marlin). The assembly was straightforward but there were issues with the floats. The float struts had burrs and had to be filed before they could be inserted into the floats. Also, the holes in the floats that receive the set screws that hold the float struts were not drilled out, so the set screws could not contact the metal struts. I had to open up the solid plastic in the bottom of the screw holes (while trying not to damage the threads) so the set screws would secure the struts. Last, only one of the wingtip lights was functional. I have not yet flown the plane, so no comments on its performance.
