  • Husky 1800mm PNP Ultimate with Vector Flight Stabilization System

The Ultimate Husky! Now compatible with 6S LiPo batteries with an upgraded motor and wood propeller.

The Husky is a PA-18 inspired, high-winged light utility aircraft which made its first flight in 1986.

Arrows RC has recreated this backcountry workhorse — from rivet lines and body panels to the predictable STOL flight characteristics — without overlooking any detail when creating the Husky 1800mm.

Packed full of attractive features, the Arrows Husky 1800mm is prebuilt with rugged CNC landing gear, oversized balloon tires, and functional flaps for true STOL backcountry operations.

Arrows is also proud to present an ultimate version of the Husky featuring an alternative trim scheme and upgraded electronics — 3948-550kV motor, 50A ESC and 23g metal servos.

The Ultimate version allows expert pilots to further expand the flight envelope of the Husky — while fiber-reinforced control surfaces ensure precision control at these higher loads.

Perfect for beginners and experts alike, the Husky is the ultimate bush plane every pilot needs!

After almost a month of miserable weather and some medical issues, I finally got to fly this plane. I'm not a seasoned pilot and was a little hesitant to buy it.  So, for my maiden and second flight I wimped out and used a 3500 mAh 4S. As soon as it lifted off my stress level went back to zero. With just 2 clicks of right aileron  the plane flew straight and true with all the power I needed and some to spare. After 6 minutes of flying (mostly 1/2 to 3/4 throttle) and a few full throttle passes. I can't wait to work my way up to a 5 & 6S.I made a perfect landing and was as happy as a pig in poop.

This is my first Arrows PNP model and I was very impressed with the quality. The Vortex gyro stabilization system works just like SAFE in a eflite model and was easy to set up with a Spektrum receiver. My ONLY complaint would be the wing servo and lights cables are too short and tricky to plug in. Using connectors on the wings would be a big improvement.

I have flown r/c off and on for the past 40 years. I have always owned glow/gas powered, and balsa constructed airplanes. So, purchasing an electric powered, and foam constructed aircraft was quite a step. The Husky has more than met my expectations. It was easy to assemble, and a kick in the pants to fly. I did have one faulty lipo, but the customer service at Hobby Zone is the way customer service should be EXCELLENT. I will purchase from Hobby Zone again.

The Husky 1800mm PNP Ultimate was a great purchase for me. It was easy to assemble and easy to fly. You can fly it slow and easy or fast. With a 6s battery there is plenty of power and flight time. It really does take off in a few feet and landing is just as easy. It's a great looking plane also.

So I purchased this after watching the reviews from RC Informer and it has not disappointed. I did upgrade the tires to the inflatable DuBros based on someone else who purchased this model and I would recommend that if they can. Not necessarily a must but does perform on pavement better. I used a 10 Channel Receiver that allowed for separate aileron and flap connections which allowed me to set up some neet things like crow and flaperons. Again, this is not necessary but I like modifying my aircraft for me. But before all these modifications this Husky performed so well. It looks amazing in the air too, and will do anything you can pretty much ask of it. If your looking for a STOL aircraft out of the box or one that can be tuned a little for even more performance this is your plane. My final words are I plan on using it as a trainer for my wife next year as her 2nd plane.

Dan is the man when it comes to parts for these airplanes. I won't buy any other brands than what they carry because I know I can have my parts the same day.

    THE PERFECT STOL PLANE

This plane can do it all. 6s power makes almost any maneuver easy and gives you the ability to throttle out of anything and has plenty of speed but it can also glide nice and slow with or without flaps down. Both together also  make for easy STOL. Highly recommended. I only have a few “downsides”. First being the assembly of the wain wing, the routing for the wires from the main wings could be better designed to make assembly/disassembly easier. Second, the tires are rock hard and this plane could really benefit from soft tires or even air filled tires. But for a plane with all the features and performance it has and for the price it is, the pros much outweigh the cons.

I really do enjoy flying this plane, it's built like an old school Tonka truck, yet at the same time nimble to fly.
