    A Fun Powered Glider

I have had my Calypso for a couple of months and find that it performs well in catching thermals. But what disturbs me is that in the reviews I read, all are adding weight to the nose. All who have one at our field have added ¾ to 1 oz in the tail with the battery all the way back in the well to get a flat glide. Having the right CG is important and can make or break an airplane on the first flight. There can't possibly be that much difference from glider to glider. This misinformation can hurt a first time buyer who is unaware. My advice is to check your CG carefully before flying the first time. Once trimmed, it is an excellent power glider that you will enjoy flying.
