The Blade® 130 X is a sub-micro, 3D stunner that eagerly performs piro flips, tic tocs, hurricanes, funnels and more with the energy and precision of a machine several times its size. At the center of this incredible performance is the AS3X® (Artificial Stabilization – 3-aXis) Flybarless System. This system uses a 3-axis MEMS sensor and exclusive flight control software to deliver the kind of responsiveness and neutral stability that makes you feel like you’re flying a much bigger heli. This, along with a powerful brushless motor and shaft-driven tail, lets you push the limits, indoors or out, with absolute control.
** This helicopter is intended for advanced CCPM pilots only. It is capable of extremely high head speeds and aggressive 3D maneuvers.
A 6+ channel DSM2- or DSMX-compatible programmable transmitter
This is without a doubt one of the best helis E-flite has ever produced. You can get it set up and flying in no time, and its performance is great if you tweak the settings from the manual a little. It's great that they put out a BNF right out of the gate because I can't imagine anyone buying this who does not already have a radio. I definitely didn’t need another radio. I think it's a little pricey for the size and I almost didn't buy it, but if you have the money to spend, do it. It's built really well except for the way the blade grips are made and attach to the swash. Other than that, out of the park, E-flite. A few spare parts come with it, but not much. Good luck walking in to your local hobby shop and finding them right now, but that will get better. OH!! Did I mention the shaft driven tail? It’s outstanding! It really adds to its stability and performance, and they even give you spare gears in the box.
So like I said, it's a little pricey and really not worth that kind of money, $279. I paid less than that for my 450, but what the heck. If you have it, buy it and another $100 worth of batteries and have fun. I've had mine a week now and can't seem to put it down.
