I like to fly the Ember 2 around my yard after a long hard day at work. This aircraft is a bit unstable in flight, but that is what makes it fun and a challenge. I like this airplane too because I can work on my stalls and approaches and not damage my larger Cessna 172. When the weather gets bad, I can also go indoors and continue the fun flights inside. I am starting to use the plane to teach others to fly RC planes.

I got this plane because I wanted something so I don't have to go to a field. I couldn't have picked a better plane!! There are some bad things about it though. It is VERY fragile and it is not very responsive. Overall though, it's a fun little plane!

This is the best little trainer ever, slow, easy to take off and land, when trimmed flies by itself, takes a hit for a light plane. On low rates this is one sweet plane anyone can fly. Outdoors it must be dead calm! You do not need a big area, you can fly it almost anyplace.

I was blessed with a calm evening and was able to fly the Ember 2. After a couple of landings, I got the hang of it and it was plain fun to fly. I was able to fly it in a small parking lot and it's very responsive. Just what I wanted, also good for indoor flying in larger areas.

    Great First Plane

My brother-in-law bought this for me as a gift while he was visiting. It has been the best gift ever. I have flown RC helis in the past, but this was my first plane after being out of the hobby for about four years. This is a dream to fly and practice landings. She turns pretty slowly to the left which has caused some collisions with trees and fences at the local park. But that is okay because repairs are super easy. Mostly just use tape. The biggest thing to repair is the prop shaft. Cheap, fast fix. Love this plane. The down side is that the wind has to be less than three or four knots or the plane will get thrown around. It’s a small price to pay, though, for the long flight time. I even let my four year old fly sometimes. Looking forward to the next plane.... Addiction has returned.

My wife picked this plane up for me two weeks ago. It's the first remote control plane I have owned, and it is great. It holds together even after all of my crash landings in the beginning. In only two weeks, I can already fly without crashing and land it right where I want to. I hand launch it in my backyard but am looking forward to taxi take-offs. Some reviews said this is not a beginner model, but I disagree. The lightness makes it land very softly, even when you mess up. I can't wait to get my next one already.
